Artist Statement

Adams approach derives from live art, ranging from puppet shows, performance, photography, mail-art and DIY art projects through to democratic and participatory workshops, lectures and site specific acts.

This practice places importance on art and creativity and working out how creativity can help provide balance for our identity within and around the everyday constraints of work and life. Producing work promoting collaboration, believing that art is for everyone, and allowing audiences to participate and take ownership of the work.

Adam continues to balance making art alongside working with children and young people with autism and special education needs, working in schools, running creative lessons and art sessions.
