Artist's Studios are open across Derbyshire on the late May Bank Holiday. I'm opening up my new studio in Wirksworth, showing my more experimental work (although I'm always happy to discuss unique and bespoke upholstery commissions too!).

Artist Chris Thomas will be showing her work in the space too which I'm really excited about. Chris is a mixed media artist working predominantly with textiles and is currently exploring concepts of home, domesticity and Feminist iconography.

We're collaborating on a new piece using threads and an old sewing box after conversations around the phrase women so often use as a greeting in their own homes and spaces "Sorry it's a mess..."
