Project - Identity Title - Comfy
Dimension 30 cm h 1m w x 1m d
Medium A metal tree hoop was adapted to make a sprung bed for the nest of plastic red tubes that connect to each of the holes of the ceramic seed head and represents the innards of some plant stems. The plinth was made of paving bricks and gravel.
This sculpture was inspired by the latest fashion in paving every inch of a front garden to keep it clean and tidy. This dose not allow for the water run off to soak into the ground, instead it runs off into a drain and possibly at times, into a overflowing river. To allow for the water run off, create a boarder, which could be filled in with shingle.
