Anthropologists view the middle stage of rites of passage as a liminal period between one state and another. Here the subject simultaneously contains elements of both its previous and subsequent forms but is identified as neither. I am interested in creating an installation that is concurrently destructive and constructive. I do this by using materials that are either offcuts, found or second hand
