I'm a visual artist living and working in London with a wide practice touching ceramics, drawing, cooking, graphic design; separately or in combination. I embrace being an 'amateur' in many disparate fields of interest and make work mostly about natural & synthetic environments, materials, communities.
I'm a visual artist living and working in London with a wide practice touching ceramics, drawing, cooking, graphic design; separately or in combination. I embrace being an 'amateur' in many disparate fields of interest and make work mostly about natural & synthetic environments, materials, communities.
I participate in models of alternative learning and circular economy, queering the existing hierarchies at play in financialised systems of art and education, and approaching my practice with intrigue, vigour and fun. Some skills learned through studio experiments are shared through workshops and I regularly trade personal works with others for art or labour.
My research focusses on human attitudes towards waste, the lifecycle of materials and problem-solving through collaboration. I want to work in the wider field of community sustainability and promote inclusive arts practice, particularly with adults with learning disabilities.
